Robotic and Minimally Invasive Surgeon Serving North Central, West Virginia

I was admitted to the hospital with Acute Appendicitis and was taken into surgery very quickly with Dr. Lin as my surgeon. I was told by my fiance, who is a former nurse, that I would be in very good hands with Dr. Lin, and I very much was. Even though I was put to sleep for the surgery, his skills speak volumes by how quickly my recovery time was and with the minimally visual incision marks left from the surgery. Not only was Dr. Lin very kind, but addressed all of my questions and concerns with knowledge and kindness. If anyone has a choice of doctors for their surgery, please ask for Dr. Lin. You will be very happy with the results.

I was so incredibly blessed and lucky to come across this amazing, compassionate, kind, caring, and knowledgeable physician. He did a very extensive surgery on me, and I couldn’t be more grateful and happy with his care. From my first appointment, surgery day, inpatient stay, follow-ups, and phone calls. He gives his patients his personal cell phone number for any questions, concerns, etc. He even called the night before surgery to discuss everything and puts your mind at ease. I was very nervous, and my anxiety was thru the roof, but having him as my surgeon, he was so reassuring that I had nothing to worry about and everything would be a success, and it was. I’ve never in my life met a physician like this. His bedside manner is exceptional. Probably the best I’ve ever experienced. He is great with his patients and does everything in his power to make sure they’re pleased, and he wants the very best for them. Overall excellent physician and a great person at that. Highly recommended. If I could give 10 stars, I would because he deserves that and more! If you need any type of general surgery, especially robotic, he is your best option. Thank you, Dr. Lin, for your excellent care and all your time between office visits, phone calls, and texts. I’ll never forget you.

Dr. Lin is awesome. The pre-surgery visit was great. He made sure to explain everything he needed to do and why and made sure I was completely fine with the procedure. Very compassionate with an incredible bedside manner. I am pain-free for the first time in years and can’t express my gratitude enough to Dr. Lin and his amazing staff!

There is not one negative thing to say about Dr. Lin. I had sudden onset of acute pancreatitis related to gallbladder issues that landed me in the ER. Dr. Lin was the hospitalist assigned to me for gallbladder removal. I found Dr. Lin to be compassionate, calm, professional, personable, caring, non-rushed, informative, and extremely patient to fully answer all of my questions before and after surgery. He is a surgeon that has an EXCEPTIONAL bedside manner. He fully prepared me for every step of the process, including the level of anesthesia called a block, I believe. I felt absolutely ZERO angst under his care. I know that he read all of my information because he verbally referred to parts of it throughout our conversations. He listened to my concerns, knew what was important to me, and addressed each of my points. I strongly recommend him as a surgeon, and based on his character, I’d actually enjoy having him as a friend, too. He’s a wonderful human.

He followed me all the way through surgery recovery with texts and phone calls on his personal cell at all hours of the day/night.
